Within the last ten years, Changing Images Art Foundation has painted thousands of paintings worldwide thanks to more than 4000 volunteers. Arlene received Special Volunteer realization at the VMC Awards dinner in 2006, And awarded the Russ Berrie credit card debt award in 2004.
She has had murals showcased in CBS's Touched By An Angel, And has had celebrity autographed canvases donated to nursing homes and hospitals everywhere across the planet. Celebrity signatures include director George Bush, Risie i Dunnell, The author Leno, Gaga Matthews, The list goes so on.
The Jefferson Awards were formed in 1972 by Sam Beard, Jacqueline Kennedy and Senator Robert Taft to honor people who do great community service. The awards are presented on both the nation's and local levels. The grateful recipients of the New Jersey State Jefferson Awards are ordinary people who do extraordinary things without expectation of recognition or reward.
